Established in 2006 with Liu Zhihai as the legal representative, Wafangdian Zhihai Fruits Co., Ltd. is a non-governmental enterprise specializing in agricultural industrialization of fruits production, service, purchase, storage, sale and development. The Company’s assets have reached the value of RMB 12 million, including RMB 9 million of fixed assets. Currently the Company has 1,200 seasonal employees and 15 technical executives. The floor area of the Company is 6,800m2, with building area of 4,100 m2, in which 3,200 m2 constant-temperature cold storage can store more than 5,000T fruits per time. 3000 Mou non-pollution fruit production base has the annual output of 6,000T. The Company has registered “Zhihai” trademark and obtained the import and export right.

    The Company established Liu Zhihai private enterprise in Transbaikal, Chita State of Russia in Apr. 2005 in order to develop foreign market, with executive manager of Sun Jiang and registered capital of RMB 3 million. The said enterprise is a sole corporation which built one constant-temperature cold storage in Wuyi market of Transbaikal with building area of 400 m2 and annual fruit sale of more than 15,000 T. The fixed assets in Russia total RMB 2.1 million and 18 employees are working there.

    For improving the fruit quality, the Company established Wafangdian Nongfeng Fruits Special Cooperative in 2007. Now the Cooperative has 150 members. Since the establishment, the Cooperative has successively engaged the provincial and municipal agricultural experts and technical staffs to train and instruct the members, thus secures the quality of exported fruit and obtains the trust and praise from domestic and foreign clients.

    The Company regards the agricultural industrialization as its development objective. Its products are mainly sold to Russia and the domestic large cities. In 2007, it was awarded the certifications of orchard and packing factory of outward fruits, upon the approval of Liaoning Entry-Exit Inspection & Quarantine Bureau of the People’s Republic of China. In 2008, the Company was certified to conform to GB/T19001-2000idtISO9001:2000 by Beijing United Intelligence Certification Co., Ltd.
